We would really like to be connected to ifttt, and we have submitted our api using that form once before, but haven't got any feedback at all. Made another submission today.

With the new support for the maker channel ( http://blog.ifttt.com/post/121786069098/introducing-the-maker-channel) it should be doable to fix integration to IFTTT althrough Telldus Live! is not an official channel.

But, support for simple modifications via url must be added to Live (i.e., request to PUT https://api.telldus.com/<token>/dim/<device_id>/<dim_value>).

And the Event part should add an action to trigger IFTTT maker like: GET https://maker.ifttt.com/trigger/live_event/with/key/<your_IFTTT_key>?<sensor_id>=<value>
(this is probably already possible as a Pro user but a nicer interface would be great for direct IFTTT actions.

The Maker channel receives the parameters as JSON, not in the browser's query string. At the moment, it's not possible to do JSON in Telldus Live. With Curl, it can be done like this:

curl -H "Content-Type: application/json" -X POST -d '{ "value1":"id123","value2":"23.2"}' https://maker.ifttt.com/trigger/telldus1/with/key/abcdefghij123456789

That one launches my "telldus1" event at IFTTT's Maker channel.

Replying to jarmo puolakanaho <jarmo.puolakanaho@…>:

Did you not read the documentation? It states "The data is completely optional, and you can also pass value1, value2, and value3 as query parameters or form variables.".

So it is very possible to just send a GET request with the variables as parameters.

Test this:

curl https://maker.ifttt.com/trigger/telldus1/with/key/abcdefghij123456789?value1=id123\&value2=23.2

Yes, I know, I already have a couple of IFTTT recipes to warn me via Pushover if my the temperature of my freezer is too high. :D But if Live had a way to send parameters (IDs of the sensors, temperatures etc.) to IFTTT, that would be more than great.

EDIT: However, an even more interesting feature would be sending an HTTPS Maker request from IFTTT to Live. As you said, Fredrik, would require changing some stuff in the Live API.
