How to update the firmware in TellStick, TellStick Duo and TellStick Net

Please see below for you operating system.

TellStick must be from batch 11 or later to support upgrades. All batches of TellStick Duo and TellStick Net support upgrades.

Windows

The service running must be stopped in order for the flasher utility to see the TellStick.
Open "Services". You find it under:
Start menu -> Administrative Tools -> Services
Find "TelldusService" in the list and press "Stop Service".

You can now run the flasher utility.

Mac OS X

Open the terminal. Run the following command: sudo launchctl unload /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.telldus.service.plist

You need to enter your password.

Now you can run the flasher utility.
