Beta testers wanted II

We are finally ready for beta testing of device event reception and remote control scanning in Telldus Live!

We need your help to test the following in the web interface:

  • Scan remotes (and motion detectors and magnetic switches) (#118)
  • Live updates of sensor values (has been active for a while now) and device state when TellStick Net receives an incoming signal.

We are interested in having this tested on different platforms and different browsers, and we want you to look for bugs and have opinions about the UI. We will also monitor the impact this may have on the server performance.

This functionality is only accessible from Telldus Live! on the web, not in the API.

If you are interested to try this out, post a comment below and we'll pick out some of you and activate beta access. We'll not add any more beta testers at the moment.

29. Mikael Johansson -- 12 years ago

30. David Johansson -- 12 years ago

Yes please :)

yes please especially looking forward to the new sensor features

I would like to join the beta test. I'm using a lot of Elro Code Switches with my TellStick Net.

34. Håvard Watland -- 12 years ago

Hi, I would very much like to participate in the beta. I do have a setup that controls most of light and heating in my house with nexa. I'm in the process of hacking together something to control it with a raspberry pi and a duo(still waiting, looking into other rf receivers). This looks very much like the features I want, so please sign my up :)

35. Helge Rath -- 12 years ago

Hello, i would love to check this out. Have alost every light and ovens in my house connected to telldus live. I also have several temperature sensors, but only one work with standard .net. Have been using tellstick for many years now and would like to contribute to further development.

36. Mats Guldbrand -- 12 years ago

Two Net, one home, one in the summer house. In total ~20 switches and 5 temperature sensors. Waiting to attach my motion detector and the remote for my garage lights. Running OSX and a number of iOS devices. So yes, I would very much like to beta test new functions! :-D

37. Marcus Edvinsson -- 12 years ago

I'd like to test. I have a NEXA-remote, an Oregon Scientific temp and humidity sensor and three temp sensors. I'm using Chrome on Windows 7.

38. Tobias Hermansson -- 12 years ago

Yes please.

Running -iPad (Safari) -MacBook Air (Safari) -MacBook Pro (Chrome)

3 Oregon sensors 2 outdoor nexa ir 2 indoor nexa ir 2 nexa remotes Have been waiting to get magnetic switches

39. Mikael Koivisto -- 12 years ago

40. Michael Lassnig -- 12 years ago

I'm interested!

47. lioelec lioelec -- 12 years ago

Hello

I'm interrested to test it on my 3GS tellstickNet 20x otio,chacon,phoenix,GAO 2x THN132N regards

48. Xavier Mayeur -- 12 years ago

I am really keen to test it - please keep me informed on the next steps - Xavier

49. Cyril Piermé -- 12 years ago

Hello,

I'm really interested to test these new possibilities.

I'm currently using my Tellstick Net from :

  • Windows : Internet Explorer, Googole Chrome and Firefox
  • Iphone with "TelldusCenter"
  • Samsung Spica (Android 2.1) with "RemoteStick Lite"

and also from a Android tablet without application, but from "mobile version" Telldus Live

I use it to control DI-O / Chacon Devices in France.

  • Self Learning On/OFF
  • Self Learning Dimmer
  • And also somme others devices I've been able to set as Self Learning On/OFF

(Little light from DI-O, wireless "two-way-switch" devices from DI-O ...)

It would be great to be able to know the status of these differents devices from the Telldus Live even if the "order" has been sent from my different "remote control" devices....

50. Xavier Mayeur -- 12 years ago

Please add me to the beta tester - thanks

51. marcus zerwes -- 12 years ago

We'd love to test, especially scanning a Intertechno non-codeswitch remote (see http://www.telldus.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=2310) and get Sensors (Oregon) back working. Android Tablets/Smartphones (Chrome, Dolphin, Firefox), Windows (Chrome, Firefox). Regards, Marcus

52. Johan Åkerblom -- 12 years ago

Yes, please!

I have 2 Nets, and a lot of sensors/devices from Nexa and Oregon, and really need this feature for motion sensors. Also reading sensors with php-script via API.

53. Göran Svensson -- 12 years ago

54. Christoffer Björnram -- 12 years ago

Skriv upp mig! Kör iMac med Safari, Tellstick Net. -12 mottagare (5 Nexa, 7 GAO, alla on/off utan dim-funktioner).

55. Anders Karlin -- 12 years ago

I would like to be a beta tester. Have about 35 nexa receivers, 3 motion sensors, 3 magnetic switches, repeater, light sensor and a bunch of remotes. I am really looking forward to these functions.

Had to create a nexa sniffer to get id of my sensors. A remote scanner would have been much easier.

56. Håkan H -- 12 years ago

I'm also interested. If this works i don't have to take down My half kitchen to program 2 nexa recivers.

57. Stephane Dierick -- 12 years ago

Hello! I'd love to beta test! I got a Magnetic switch (chacon), DI-O switch modules (chacon) and Oregon scientific temperature sensor. I use Chrome for desktop and safari on IOS devices (Ipad+Iphone) Count me in!

58. Peter Mårtensson -- 12 years ago

59. Andreas Björklund -- 12 years ago

I would really like to test it too. My Tellstick Net is just an hour old at home and I have only got my two temperature sensors up and running. I plan on hooking up my outdoor lights to a Nexa motionsensor later this week so it would be great if I could use it via Telldus Live.

60. Peter och Nina Lindh -- 12 years ago

Hej!

61. Emil Horpen Hetty -- 12 years ago

Please add me!

62. Johannes Bø -- 12 years ago

Please add me in. I really want to test it.

63. evorgevol evorgevol -- 12 years ago

Hi, What's the latest on this please? I have several devices that I would love to be able to scan the codes of which I think is available in this beta. Is this going to be a release soon, or is there room on the beta side for one more..? Thanks

64. Jan Hadroli -- 11 years ago

I'd love to try it out!

65. Stefan Persson -- 11 years ago

This functionality has been incorporated into Telldus Live! for a while now, but have a look at http://developer.telldus.com/blog/2013/09/09/events-for-tellstick-net-invites-you-to-the-public-beta-test for another beta-test.
